This sharp M380 has spent the last 4 years in Texas, it lives in San Antonio. It’s
a 3-owner coach and before moving to Texas it had its very one Condo down in
The St. Petersburg area. It had a premature engine failure in 2016 and the owner
had Cummins install a factory rebuilt engine. The coach is used frequently, the
owner goes to many rallies and other events around the south.
Useful information is it has 2 slides, a living room/kitchen slide and a bedroom
slide. The coach has 91,000 miles on it, the engine has about 8,800 miles on it.
When the engine work was done the radiator was cleaned and inspected and an
EGT gauge was installed.
The Hurricane diesel boiler is in-op and the owner replaced it with an
electric/motoraid water heater and he uses the factory electric heaters when he
needs heat in the coach, the Hurricane is available and can be repaired if the
new owner so desires.
The Batteries are: Engine batteries-28 months old, Coach batteries-Deka AGM
8A8D new in 2015, Generator battery is an AGM and is 7 years old. Front tires
are 14 month and 48 month old Michelin 315/80Rs. Rear tires are 7 month old
Michelin 12R22.5s. The coach shows well, it has a good looking paint job and
the interior is in very good condition. The generator has been shop serviced out
of coach at 700 hours and is in excellent working order.
The seller says this: This smoke-free, three owner, Blue Bird M380 has been in
enclosed storage, when not in use, since 2010. Odometer reading is now 91,000
miles.
Current owners have averaged 5,500 miles/year since purchasing the coach in
2014. The 38 foot, twin slide-out Class A RV, powered by a Cummins 8.9 liter
turbocharged ISL 400 diesel, has a comfortable highway cruising speed of 70
mph. Transmission is an Allison automatic 6 speed with an integral Jake brake.
An EGT pyrometer was installed in the turbo discharge pipe with readout on the
dash, and a new dash mounted Scangauge D. These instruments provide
extensive, continuous engine information to the driver to improve mileage and
extend engine life.
Current owners have made several upgrades including, two new Samsung LED
TV’s, new Winegard Travler satellite dish with new DirecTV satellite receivers,
new Samsung 17.5 cubic foot residential refrigerator, new engine exhaust
system.
Owners have maintained complete maintenance records since 2014 and a log
book detailing all aspects of operations.
